Sennheiser HD 569 Wired Over-Ear Headphones - Black

I bought this pair of headphones while it was on sale a month ago, for the specific purpose of being used with my digital piano and laptop running Pianoteq. The closed design is great because I only hear what I wanted and other people cannot hear what I am playing. The sound is so realistic and I can hear every nuance of the way I played, e.g. pedalling noise. The frequency curve seems not biased in any direction, yet gives the right amount of base and highs and reproduces piano sounds very faithfully. I did not pay for extra features that I did not need, e.g. bluetooth module, battery, etc. which are prone to failure one day or another. Besides, wired headphones have the benefit of minimal delay. The inclusion of two cables of different plugs also is a bonus. I can easily switch between the piano output (larger plug) and the laptop output (smaller plug). Really recommend this product, especially if it is on sale. Comfortable wearing too. I can’t think of any cons about this product, to be honest.

Super comfortable and incredible audio. Hearing a whole new world since upgrading. Definitely going to stick with Sennheiser in the future.
Only thing I'd change is a adding a long male-to-male 3.5mm cable to the box, but that's a simple and cheap purchase anyways. Officially a Sennheiser fan now.

I've had cheaper gaming headsets that sound better than these. The build quality is nice and they're comfortable, but they have almost no bass even when powered by an amp. Might be okay for basic productivity use, but they're garbage for music! I've had cheaper gaming headsets that sound better than these. These headphones are so good and feel so nice when wearing them. Great sound quality and can fit anyone's head and they can twist slightly and it makes then very comfortable. After trying several alternatives, I'm very happy with this set of headphones. The detachable cord is an absolute necessity. The headphones are comfortable and I have no problems using them for extended periods of time. They work really well when playing music as they don't have the lag which you find in bluetooth or wireless models.

The built-in microphone is convenient, however the fact that the headphones cut out exterior sound so well distorts your perception of your own voice. I've had these for over a year now, and liked them so much I bought a second pair for others to use on our live streaming team. The noise isolation is great for both the wearer and those around them. When streaming an event it's great to be able to hear just the stream (which is fractionally delayed from the live event), and also to be able to monitor the final broadcast of delayed stream without others in the vicinity hearing delayed audio bleed. The long cord is also super convenient in an operational setting. They're also much more comfortable to wear than others I've used previously.
