Was becoming more and more frustrated with the old DELL keyboard and decided to try this one. The bonus was the mouse is better than I expected for use with my detailed precision graphic applications and the keyboard is exactly what I needed. The reason I bought this wireless keyboard and mouse kit is the single USB dongle for both keyboard and mouse. It frees up one of my USB port on the computer. Plus the long battery life as declared (24 month for mouse and 36 month on key board). I have an early version of Logitech Anywhere Mx mouse whose battery life is about 3 to 4 months. So 36 month sounds very good to me. The mouse works okay for this price range.
However, the keyboard quality is very ordinary as the keys are a bit stiff and the key pressing does not give a very smooth feeling. As a comparison, the keys of CoolerMaster Devastator 3 keyboard are much better on typing. Very good price for this product and comfortable hand position on keyboard. The only issue is that the keys are extremely light to the touch which can mean a lot of unintended typos and retyping. I've never had a bad experience buying Logitech, anything. All their stuff is really well made and reliable. I bought this to replace my current Logitech Keyboard which I have used everyday for hours and hours, for the last 4 years - I have rubbed away the letters off many of the keys but aparty fron that the unit still works perfectly...it'd just realy scuzzy now and I needed to update it for the good of my health :-)

I like that the keyboard doesn't take up too much desk space. But the travel of the keys is quite long and they don't have the nice soft feel I like in keyboards. I do like that both the mouse and keyboard work from the same wireless USB dongle (hence only consuming one USB port). I like that the keyboard doesn't take up too much desk space.
