My 5 Year Old keyboard was starting to misbehave so after a chat and a recommendation from Peter at PBT Hornby, I opted for this Mechanical Gaming keyboard.
Performs great, very happy with the mechanical key functionality and having a USB passthrough option right there on my desktop is proving to be a bonus. Easy access for charging things instead of hanging it from the side of my PC Tower box.

Coming from a membrane keyboard which was the g213, the g512 has a very nice clicky feel, and the backlighting is clean with no light bleeding at all. I love the look and feel of this keyboard. The keys are a little like the old fashioned electric typewriter set up (for those old enough to remember them) in the way they sound and click as you type. I find the shape and space of the keys minimize mistypes . Overall this is the nicest keyboard i have had and i think it would be hard to move to another type after this. I purchased this keyboard for a much needed upgrade, and after 2 weeks of owning this I can 100% recommend this product to anyone who also need something new. The RGBs are great, but the efficiency and flow of the keyboard outrules all the other excellent aspects. I love this keyboard, the clickiness makes sure you know you have clicked a key. The colours have many options so you can have fun choosing one of the many different ways the keyboard is lit up.Overall I have really enjoyed using this keyboard and it seems like it won't be difficult to remove dust from it since there is lots of space under the keys. I got this keyboard without trying it out, and wasn't sure if the clicky keys would be annoying. But it's awesome, the keys have great feedback and sound badass. This keyboard is a fantastic drop-in replacement for regular office keyboards, as well as for writers & "gamers"
What I particularly like is that this keyboard is not over the top or flashy, it's simple and attractive with a nice aluminium finish.

For a professional environment, simply change the RGB to whatever you like (company colours, still white, or off entirely) and you'll have a very nice, comfortable keyboard that is superior to any regular keyboard. I have personally seen this keyboard in a bunch of office/reception areas throughout NZ due to its professional look and attractive price.

Don't be afraid of the GX blues either, they aren't that noisy. This is about as loud as razor's green switches. All the benefits of blue without the clunky sound.

Been using it for a month now, I think I've gotten used to the GX Blue switches, they feel nice and tactile but still clicky enough to get that satisfying feeling. Build quality is amazing too!
