The advertised speed is 3,600Mhz, but it only runs at 2,666Mhz. I have updated my BIOS and enabled XMP with no improvement. My motherboard is compatible with 3,600Mhz. I tried researching and configuring for hours with no luck. Companies should not be allowed to advertise speeds that can only be achieved by overclocking! Needed some memory for a new build for the missus, 16GB would already have been plenty but for something like only $40 more I couldn't resist and got the 32GB instead, maybe one day she'll do some video editing and then it will come in handy. It's very fast RAM, works flawlessly on the Gigabyte B550M, using XMP profile. Fantastic price and simple to install (even for this ham-fisted noob). Have an older Gigabyte motherboard with max RAM mhz of 2900 even though this product can clock speeds of up to 3600 mhz, but once installed the RAM was only running at 2666mhz. Turns out I had not enabled the Extreme Memory Profile in BIOS. A very nervous moments when I thought it wouldn't reboot, but then I was away laughing. My gaming rig is so much faster now.
