When Apple got rid of the headphone jack, it was a big disappointment even though it was understandable given the need to waterproof the phone and given the traditional mini-RCA headphone connector was always the first thing to go on Apple devices. So it is great that a low cost solution is there to allow the use of traditional headphones with the new standard.
