I have purchased 2 of these now - very happy with the performance and reliability of them. My phones have thick "leather look" vinyl covers but pose no problems with the charging - either horizontal or vertical. I have on for work and one for home. Never worked despite compatibility (tested with multiple phones, confirmed against other chargers).... overpriced plastic. Bloody annoying when you live so far from store. The unit looks to be solidly built and good quality, however, because it does not come with a power adaptor and needs a 5V/2A power adaptor it's causing me issues.

I was also expecting it to have an auto cut off sensor but it looks like it keeps charging when it actually works. It is not compatible with my 5V/1A iPhone charger adaptor so that's a shame.

I bought this on sale. Liked it so much I bought 2 more when it went on sale again.
There are faster chargers around, but I prefer slow charging anyway... less heat, better for battery (?). I'll use a cable if I need an emergency fast charge.

Purchased this a year ago. Writing a review now as it popped up as a potential wireless charger.
