The best part besides the durability is the extra 20cm length. It sounds weird but 1m is too short from outlet to nightstand and still be manoeuvrable. I have a few of these for ipad and Iphone and some of the Momax TOUGH link USB type C as well.

This a very rugged cable with plenty of reinforced flex and solid construction. It’s not particularly nice to hold due to the rough cable but it’s worth it for something that will last years. This is the second cable I bought. It is durable and nicely made. The connection in is smooth and accurate. I have two broken genuine iphone cables which are all having crack at the end of cable by itself. Therefore I don't think wasting money on another genuine iPhone cable is a good idea to me.
