I really like this mount, a bit pricey but it is a wireless charger. Really grips on to the phone (I’m using an iPhone 14 pro). Will be buying another Mount for my second car. I really liked the IR detection of the mobile phone which enables the holder to open and close automatically. However, there is no mobile phone, the sensor can have a false positive trigger by your hand. Also, in order for the sensor to be activated, the holder has to be connected to the power slot of the car. If you accidently switched off the car, you can’t remove the mobile until you switch your car again

This works well enough, but I have two issues with it. 1) you need to have the ignition on for the release to work (I have another holder which has a battery that provides enough energy to open and close the grip a couple of times after losing power from the car). 2) The auto sensor is quite sensitive, and so the holder opens and shuts when you're not using it. I went on a big road trip holiday up Northland and this worked a treat. Kept my phone charged wirelessly and was really easy to put in and out of the holder with the automated motorised clamps with Infrared sensor activation. Like most air vent connectors, it's a bit pokey, but once installed right it works pretty well. Does false trigger every now and again, but decent and relatively fast charging on my Samsung S20FE.
