Logitech MX Ergo Advanced Wireless Mouse

I bought this to replace a 20 (twenty) year old Logitech USB trackball mouse - its the closest config to my old one. I was a bit skeptical about wireless and all the extra buttons but I now like the flexibility of putting it anywhere and I'm happy with the performance. Despite the price I got one for wone and one for home to save me carrying it with my laptop. After a bit of bluetooth setup fun I have both mice on the same laptop, with their own settings, working without a glitch. The base has two positions which alter the angle the unit sits at, making it more ergonomic/comfortable to use, depending on your seated position relative to the mouse. I find lying on the couch or leaned back in a chair the high angle is more comfortable and when sat upright at a desk the flat angle is better.

The dual pairing options means you can have the device paired to two devices via Bluetooth. I believe you can even use it with a third device using the included Logitech wireless receiver, though I have not tested this. The battery life is also great. Multiple months between recharges, though recharging can take several hours if you're using it at the same time.

I use this for both basic desktop computer work as well as some light gaming and find it works great for everything. Would highly recommend

I’ve been using Logitech thumb trackballs for decades and this latest iteration is the best so far. Easy pairing with multiple devices and smooth operation.

This is an awesome product but the switches consistently fail after 1.5-2 years of use. It's a known issue that has been written about. (https://michael.stapelberg.ch/posts/2021-12-05-logitech-mx-ergo-mouse-button-kailh/). I'm on my second one and it has started to fail again. It does the job regarding ergonomics but if you are new to this it might be quite the adjustment. I had to actively tell myself to relax my wrist and use my thumb to move the cursor around the screen. I do love the option to change the angle and now that I am used to it, I find the fact that I don't need a tonne of space to move a mouse around, excellent! I even had a go gaming with it - which was kinda funny but worked! :D

I had two issues where another Bluetooth dongle interfered with this mouse - The curser was scrolling across the screen all by itself before I discovered what was causing it. 2nd issue was the curser movement speed; the app didn't seem to pick up my request to increase this but I think there is a delay in loading the app for these settings to take effect (could be user error hence why it only lost 1 star).
I am happy so far to keep using this mouse.

I wish I found this mouse years ago, very easy to use. Easy adjustments to get it specific to the individual.

This is my second trackball, I brought the first 6 years. No issues just set up a home office so brought a second for there.
Helps with wrist pain after a long day doing CAD work, but does take a little to get use to.

I bought this to avoid exacerbating tennis elbow, and as a prevention of RSI. It's working so far. Three features stand out:
1. I can use it on two computers (eg work and home laptops) - just press a button to switch the focus.
2. Another button switches between coarse and fine movement.
3. You can use it flat or tilted - I prefer the latter for a more natural wrist angle. I bought this to avoid exacerbating tennis elbow, and as a prevention of RSI. It's working so far. Three features stand out:

Good, but I think it should be around $80 because the quality isn't where it should be for the price. As I mentioned in the title this is my second unit, the first one lasted about 10 months.

It took a couple of days to get used to but wouldn't go back after using it for a couple of weeks. Not the most compact item for putting in your laptop case but otherwise all good. So consider carefully on what type of mouse are you actually need before purchase, for people who find using thumb trackball mouse uncomfortable, maybe consider finger trackball or traditional ergonomic mice.
