Brother QL700 Label Printer

A friend recommended this printer to print labels for home produce. I bought it online straight away and voila, my pantry is now super organized. Great product, does what it says it will do

The software caused a few problems and took some stuffing around to get working but once it was, i was very happy. Cool to be able to make custom stickers quickly in ms paint and print them for cheap. label printer took hours to get up and running only for it to suddenly stop printing within minutes. Bought this during Lockdown, don't waste your money on this!. For sub $100 this has to be rated as one of the best label printers available. Easy to set up and use, even the basic bundled software does everything I need and more. The lack of wireless connectivity is the only negative on an otherwise fantastic product. For sub $100 this has to be rated as one of the best label printers available. Whilst the labels once printed are good the software and software support for this printer is terrible.
It all looks like something out of the 90's and when it didn't install properly as I was on Windows 10, it requires you to manually remove a device driver.

The website support is bad and it is difficult to find anything useful.

So hardware looks OK, software desperately needs to be updated. Whilst the labels once printed are good the software and software support for this printer is terrible.

No issues on Windows 10 but I did get stumped as after installing drivers it would not print or see the printer. Turns out you need to press and hold the "Editor Lite" button on the printer until the LED turns off. Then it works as a normal printer and prints without issue. I am in love with my new toy! It is so simple to use and makes life so much easier for my business. I highly recommend this product to anyone that ships lots of products or for great office organisation. I am so glad this popped up on my facebook and at a great price. Best purchase ever! Took a bit of work to get my head around how it all works, such as putting the labels into the printer the right way

Once that sorted I was able to print labels for all my folders.
