Brother Home HLL-2310D Mono Laser Printer

I didn't have a choice! Not only did I get good service and a very fair price but when I got the printer home and tried it out I find it easily prints on both sides of the paper as well! This suits a lot of what I print (not everything, but a lot) so it saves me a bunch of paper! In fact this new printer is so good I'm glad my old one failed! Thanks PB Tech, you always have what I need when I need it, 12 out of 10!! I didn't have a choice! Picked up this printer a few weeks back, and have printed a good few pages. Very happy with the results. Not the cheapest "per page", but fast printing and good quality. We bought this printer as it was reasonably priced, and had the main features we wanted, laser, duplex, manual feed, and relatively fast.
What we didn't realise we were buying was a printer that sounds like it's possessed.

The first printer (yes we ended up getting a second) would emit a horrible mechanical whine when running multiple pages through the duplex process.

We sorted out a replacement through Brother. This one turned out to be even worse! Not only does it still have a high pitched whine, it does it after it finishes printing ANY job, not just duplex.
