The ink tanks make this worthwhile
I don't have great printing needs and the specs seem to play down your expectations on speed, but this is pretty zippy for my few=pages-at-a-time needs. Quality looks good.
Mostly basic to set up quickly for the whole household.
So far, so good and I'd buy again. What I'd recommend higher is the chap who served me. Great advice. Really onto it.

The MFCJ4440DW printer was well priced, compact in terms of office space, easy to install, was quickly up and running and has continued to do so since.

Great printer, good price and is working well for us. Only reason I haven't given it the full 5 stars is because it is rather noisy.
Very happy with this purchase
Have only had this printer for a few weeks but am very happy with it. It has clear and fast printing both black and colour. Only drawback is that it is quite noisy.
Easy to install and fast printing
It prints out in a good speed. Does the job.
Simple and Easy
I bought this Brother based on reviews that it was simple and easy to set up and I can confirm that it was! I just followed all the instructions on the screen and had it all up in running within a matter of minutes. I love the compactness of the machine and it's refreshing to have a light coloured machine after having a dark coloured one for many years. I love that it can do double-sided printing which will save paper. All in all I'm very happy with my purchase so far.
