Great purchase
I'd been thinking for awhile to get o HomePod mini and I'm glad I finally did.
It has great sound from such a small unit and the price is not over the top.
I've had it for a few weeks now and really enjoy the ease of use.
If you are an iPhone user, I would recommend.
Only con would be not user friendly with Spotify, yet.
Home Office Assistant
I bought this to use as my office phone call hub, interfacing with iPhone 12. So when working, just ask Siri to make a call and I can keep working while it happens. I really like that Siri isn't connected to Apple computers until its activated with Hey Siri. Call and sound quality is excellent. I have a 2nd one in the kitchen playing internet radio & music.
Only annoyance at this stage is that integration with Tidal music requires casting from the iPhone rather than Siri being able to do it. (Maybe in a future software update).
Very easy to set up
As with all Apple products set up is as easy as tap your iphone to the speaker and the rest happens. Siri is very responsive and is far better than on the phone ore ipad. Mainly use it to turn on/off the lights but am starting to ask further questions ! - Sound is amazing for a little pod
Great sound quality- but lacks functionality
As the title suggests- the sound quality on this is great. Better than any Amazon Echo I have owned. However, the HomePod lacks the same kind of functionality you would find in an Alexa device. I love to have routines set up on my Echo, however I haven't been able to set up anything as effortless on the HomePod. Hopefully over time they'll bring updates to the device, as it has so much potential!

Very pleased with performance - and it's lots of fun
I went into the store for a TV remote and came out with this. Go figure. But that's OK because I can turn my AppleTV on and off with this now. The HomePod mini packs great sound for the size of the device, although for good classical sound I prefer my Bowers and Wilkens speaker (but then, that it cost me $800 some years ago when I bought it, so it should be better). After just a couple of weeks I am already using this for new bulletins, weather forecasts, control of the aforementioned AppleTV and various other tasks. As expected a great product already have a full size HomePod all linked seamlessly. I bought two mini’s for the home office was up and running in five minutes. Happy customer. Got what I expected

Can now control all my Home-kit devices from this little beauty. The sound quality is superb and being able to use it as a tv speaker through the Apple TV is awesome also!
It is not an enjoyable purchase
This is NOT a Bluetooth speaker! You need to plug in power all the time!!!!
Bought it yesterday
First of all you have to charge when you use,not wireless.
Second when you try to listen Spotify or YouTube on this thing it will have like 2 second delay with Sound while you using it.this HomePod prob one the of worst apple product that I ever had.
All of my stuff are more made with apple.this HomePod for me is just shocking.terrible experience.you have to pay for Apple Music to use it properly.such a terrible design.
