Good sounding speakers for most forms of music , But It does rely on the Sub Woofer, If the sub is turned off the speakers are tinny/treble , But buy when they are on special $228.85 is a bit steep. plus they are 5 - 6 years old now. Probably one of the best speakers in its price category. Clear sound and you can feel the bass pounding in your chest. The best price available for this speaker was from PB at the time of purchase. I bought this speaker system from PBTech for $166.75 plus freight. This is my 5th speaker system and I think it will probably be the last because the quality, the feel, the sound is just so impressive. I can't go more than 50 of the volume unless I want to simulate thunder or earthquake. I can feel my solid Kauri table reverberate. I would describe the bass as tight and realistic. I am truly impressed. I bought this speaker system from PBTech for $166.75 plus freight. Don't waste your money, control speaker packed in just after 12 month warranty, although I may have come back as consumer guarantees act doesn't put a time limit on if a product is faulty. They are the absolute MVP.

They don't do Bluetooth, they aren't wireless. they don't have a handheld remote. They are massively performant desktop speakers, not a box of gimmics waiting to fail.

The only cons to them are the length of the cable between the left and right speakers makes them at most suitable for a wide dresser setup, or on either side of a 2x 28-32" monitor setup. You can't swap the communication cable out for a different one, its fixed at the speaker and uses one of those 15 pin D shaped serial connectors. The second speaker has a simple RCA plug on it so I guess you could extend that way.

The bass of the setup is superb, probably overpowered. Thoroughly recommend this product.

I've had these for a few years and I can honestly say they sound better than anything I've owned under $2000. If you did a blind test, I bet you these would hold their own against expensive hi-fi systems.
