Purchased these for my son as the previous set died due to animal attack. He says these are better than the previous and take up less space. Very happy. Wasn't looking for anything super fancy, these speakers were in my price range and have good enough sound quality. If you're looking for fantastic sound quality you'd need to spend more. A good complement to a laptop.
I have connected them to a desktop monitor and they give me a more profound and powerful sound than my laptop.
Don't expect anything close to a full set of speakers but they definitely beat anything that comes inside a screen, a monitor, or a laptop.
