Philips TAB4308 140W 2.1 Channel Bluetooth Soundbar with Wired Subwoofer

The sound quality from the soundbar is decent. Low frequency bass response could be better but at the price, it's okay.
There's an annoying quirk of what might be a power saving feature where the soundbar would enter a low power state when no audio is detected. This however presents issues when listening to audio with frequent breaks of silence. There's a noticeable delay before the soundbar enters a normal power state, which causes the first part of any audio after silence to become clipped. Was skeptical about purchasing a sound bar after using stereo system to listen to movies as worried quality would be rubbish. Was pleasantly surprised to find (after a bit of tweaking) that sound quality was ok. I've got an older Philips TV so was hoping to not have to upgrade just to use the sound bar. Luckily it all works well and I'm happy until I can get my stereo fixed, then I'll probably disconnect it good value for money and does what I need it to do. Brought this for the bedroom tv as my old system finally had enough,this Philips system was easy to setup once I worked out I had been using the wrong Hdmi port all these years,if ur connecting to a Sony Bravia hdmi port 3 is the arc port,I now have brilliant sounds,the sound bar is a nice fit and the sub just tucks away to the side

Great for my small apartment.
Was looking for something to replace my BT speaker that died mainly for music and a friend suggested a sound bar.
This has great depth of sound for what I need with 140w and the added sub. Thoroughly recommend.
Don't bother going to Harvey Norman or JB. Great for my small apartment.

What a good price for a sound bar that includes a separate woofer. It is not very obtrusive being reasonably short.
The sound is just great for our needs. Music being played through the TV sounds much better now. Stronger bass.

Great value for money as it includes small subwoofer. Sound quality is pretty good. Only complaint is that the soundbar will power off by itself when left on for a period of time, when the TV is still on. Overall happy with purchase. Had to google it as the instructions provided didn't really help, so it took quite a while to work out how to set it up. Once its connected it works great, really good sound. Why would someone think it might be a good idea to have 1 inch high led letters flash over the face of the bar, when it's not connected, like when the TV is off, and the room might be dark.
It's extremely annoying to say the least.

For not much money this has massively improved the sound in our house. We can now Bluetooth connect to a speaker that is loud and has a great sound plus our tv now sounds amazing. Happy.
