I recently purchased this when my last older model Fitbit finally died. Highly recommend this Fitbit and bonus is it comes with 6 months free premium membership. I recently purchased a Fitbit fitness tracker and unfortunately, I have to say that I'm extremely disappointed with my purchase.
The software for the device is terrible, and on Android, it is constantly crashing, forcing me to reinstall it every time.
I definitely do not recommend buying this product. In comparison to similar products, such as Huawei's fitness trackers, it falls short in every aspect I recently purchased a Fitbit fitness tracker and unfortunately, I have to say that I'm extremely disappointed with my purchase.

Cheaper price at PB compare to other retailers.
Battery life is roughly 3 days with always on screen during the day. Heart rate monitor might not be the most accurate but it's good enough for everyday use.

The Fitbit Charge 5 is a really great watch! Build with a very long lasting battery, I'm a Ultra Marathon runner and this is a plus for me, instead of my Apple watch. It's a good fitness tracker. I upgraded from a charge 2 and it's definitely a nicer feel, more features, and more customisation options. But some things surprised me, the clock faces aren't too numerous so you have to settle with the best of a limited bunch. Also there are some options that aren't customisable such as the order of apps etc which is surprising, I have to swipe through features I don't use to get to the ones I want. Overall I'm happy with it, it's worth the money and does what I want it to do. It's a good fitness tracker. Inaccurate. You're better off buying one of the cheap Huawei trackers.
The only thing it night be good for is comparing day to day and you can do that with a much cheaper brand.
I got it for the ecg. it cannot correctly identify abnormal rhythm. It gets the sleep cycles wrong. Records a cycle as a walk and misses some of the exercise time completely.
Waste of money. My old Fitbit inspire hr did a better job (no ecg function).
I'm a health scientist and this is no good.

Pretty good. Had it a month now. Good watch. Pity subscriptions from fitbit are expensive and so stuck on the basics so can't fully appreciate all this watch has to offer.
Face does indeed scratch from finger nails.
