As far as cables go... this is spectacular.... doesn't get any better than this... both ends slide effortlessly into position, sturdy cable.. works too!!!! Friendly service as always. Contrary to the instructions on the box the manufacturer website https://www.unitek-products.com/ does not offer any drivers for this device. Later Windows finds drivers automatically but not XP, drivers are very elusive. Eventually found wd_pl2303_v1.5.0.0 from here:

Uses PL2303 converter so likely the driver installs from here will also work:

Tried it out of the box but no luck. However it worked very well once you download the right drivers (Prolific Driver). But it was easy to download and run the driver so not too much of a problem.
