Jackson PT1-USB Single Plug USB Wall Charger - 2x USB Charging Outlets

We have had 1 of these wall chargers for a number of years, and take it on all trips - NZ and overseas. With its 3-pin socket and 2 USB ports, it is very versatile. We have more devices now, so decided to buy another. They are perfect for travel, easily carried, and enable us to charge several devices at once. Works exactly as expected, USB power is sufficient to charge my phone and I use it to power my desk lamp at the same time. I bought it one month ago at PBtech and it does not work.
When I connect it on the power, it appear all the lights on but when I connect the usb cables the celphones and tablets not charge. I bought it one month ago at PBtech and it does not work.

I bought this to be a USB charger at night in a bedroom that has limited power sockets. The blue LED is far too bright even with bluetac it glows through the sockets. Also you have to hold behind the bit not plugged into the socket when you push in a USB as its too high above and puts pressure on the plug. It charges the devices fine but I would prefer a much smaller lower brightness light. I bought this to be a USB charger at night in a bedroom that has limited power sockets. It works well and charges our iPhone 7s respectably fast. However, it does have a VERY bright blue LED which is a pain if you have it in a bedroom at night. This are a bit expensive comparing to some cheap ones that are selling on Trademe or Deals website. however those cheap ones may not have NZ approval as they are not meeting the testing standards as the components could be junk :-(
