I bought this cable the 25th March 2022 and by 10th May 2022 it was sufficiently faulty to be considered a dead cable. The cable worked 50% of the time when plugged directly into the laptop however, when plugged into the dock, the cable simply wouldn't work. The cable was essentially static due to its use in a dock and it couldn't even handle static use before breaking. Spend a little more money and get a quality cable. Bought this cable to connect another monitor to laptop using USB C. It is slightly on the high price side but if you take into account it is an all in one cord, it works out about the same as an adapter & HDMI cord. Does exactly what it should, however does introduce an amount of delay that isn't far off what is introduced by screen mirroring wirelessly making this hard to recommend to everyone if that is an option.
