The latest cat 6 cable and just over a dollar a metre, if you have upgraded your work or home system to 1000 mb/sec and find you do not get that speed then it is either your hardware that doesn't support the speed or the network cable. People often dismiss the network cable as being the problem but it often is so always go for cat 6 to future proof your system. I bought this lead because sometimes wifi just doesn't cut it. Especially when you're sharing it with others. Someday in the future I'm sure wifi will become so wonderful that cables won't be needed for anything, but, to quote Aragorn in "Lord of the Rings", today is not that day. So raise a glass to the humble blue Cat6 patch lead, because there's not a lot about it that can be ballsed up in the manufacture thereof, and it works. Instant boost in performance. 'Nuff said.
