Cable started failing 4 weeks after purchase, Dynamix cables are pretty much hit or miss on their longevity, I have two shorter versions of this same cable that have lasted 2-3 years. I spent many hours one Sunday evening trying to track down the correct Computer to monitor Nonstandard HDMI cable.
An e-mail to the Henderson Office describing the computer port and the standard HDMI,
Whizz first e-mail Monday AM the answer purchased by 10AM.

I needed a DP to HDMI cable to allow an HP EliteBook to power a 31.5" AOC monitor. When trying DP to DP the screen flashed. Basically the EliteBook didn't have the grunt to power the AOC monitor at hi-res. As the EliteBook had a docking station but only had DP outlets, I needed a conversion cable to allow the DP to drive the monitor via it's HDMI port.

Worked like a charm.

In addition, another EliteBook was hooked to an HP screen but the DisplayPort port was playing up so the DP-HDMI also solved that problem. Saved fixing the monitor which would have been far more costly then the cable.
