Just stopped working one day after about 5 months. At first I thought there was something wrong with the PC and almost bought a new one only to find out it was the cable. Does what it says it does, have had no real problems since plugging it in and using it. Only thing to note is that the converter circuit is located at the HDMI end of the cable which makes the HDMI plug bigger than usual, so you will have to leave a bit of room behind the monitor (if HDMI port is at a 90' angle) for the cable to safely radius. These displayport to hdmi cables are great for using older monitors that only have hdmi. Im using two of them to run my two monitors in portrait mode.
