What I was looking for
I got a new laptop that only uses USB-C and did not want to fork out money for a dock since I don't really use USB-A port products anyway. I needed this cable for my Seagate hard drive and it does the job!
Looks well made and works
I used the cable to connect a USB external drive to a USB C port on an ASUS B550 motherboard. No issues at all.

Not fit for purpose
Purchased this to replace the USB-A cable that came with my Seagate One Touch Hard Drive as I upgraded to a Mac that only had USB-C ports. Since using this cable the drive constantly disconnects so the cable is useless. Cannot recommend.
