Its very clear that the more you invest the better the quality gets, id say this is the price point with the highest gains in performance and last big jump in price, everything dearer than this is minimally better. Theres more features and functions than you could ever need, by far one of my best investments yet. Picks up the popo from miles away cuz. Only downside is these are designed for left hand drive vehicles, so the screen isn't as ideally placed as it could be. But it's good enough and you mostly use the sound as a warning - each band has a slightly different tone/tune. It remembers false alarms at same spots after 2nd time so your regular roads become clean of false alerts pretty quick. Picks up the popo from miles away cuz. The learning period is abit annoying but is all sorted by the end of a week of driving logs most false alarms . Absolutely no regrets. I bought an R4 and quickly realised how useful direction arrows would have been so bought an R8 as well for the longer road trips. I now have an R8 in each car and wouldn't be without them.
