I bought this bundle a few months ago and had to return it as it was quite disappointing...

Pros
- Good quality video
- Wide viewing angle
- The app is nice and can be integrated with Google Home
- The design is quite nice with the magnetic charger and mounting options

Cons
There are 3 major issues which led me to replace the Arlo cameras with cheaper brand but more stable.

Cons
There are 3 major issues which led me to replace the Arlo cameras with cheaper brand but more stable.

Battery Life - this is a major one, in a busy area the battery will barely last for 24 hours, I lowered the sensitivity and video quality but didn't help. In a less busy environment would last 4-5 days, the advertised months of battery life is with close to zero recording and defiantly not using 4K.

Connectivity - another major item, the cameras disconnect all the time, sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes after 15-20min, sometimes one camera will disconnect, in some cases all cameras become unavailable

Base Station - this is a major design issue, the Arlo cameras can work only with the base station, which is using its own and dedicated SSID broadcasted from the base stations, the cameras are connecting to this SSID.
In large areas it might not be enough, but the most significant issue is the interference with the existing WiFi.
Arlo recommend not to place any WiFi routers/APs between the base station and the cameras but this might be impossible in some cases.
I have very decent WiFi set up with 3 APs so why not to use that to connect between the cameras and base station.

Biggest waste of money I have encountered buying CCTV gear. Long lag times to start viewing, unreliable motion detection, 4K often not available, often unresponsive to changes to camera settings and difficult to navigate the murky plans and fine print. Not to mention having to pay for a plan to get basic options pretty much all the competition has as default. Biggest waste of money I have encountered buying CCTV gear. It is a good package which suits most homes.
The quality of the cameras are unbeatable, and they are so easy to set up. If the camera is in a high traffic area, the batteries will last much less than the six months shown on the Arlo website. The solution is to add a solar panel to recharge. It is a good package which suits most homes.

Cameras are very clear, there is a bit of a delay to triggering the video for pets. If using for pets where they frequent then the battery does deplete a lot faster but we’ve had the cameras up for 4 weeks and have had to charge that camera 3 times, the others we haven’t had to charge yet.
Only wish you could mute notifications for one camera easily, it’s all or nothing.

After 1 month of use I am very pleased with this purchase. Had a Smanos system before which was window/door sensor based. Far prefer this video primary option.
The Arlo app works really well and enhanced features on their storage plan are worth it. Will add another camera soon to completely cover my property. Coverage on the base unit is fantastic.
My only concerns are Sirens are a little bit quiet and security light is a little weak and also I can't seem to combine a schedule and a geofence for setting, but overall very happy.
