Purchased because of the promise of "battery lasts months". After 1st full charge battery lasted 3 days, after the second full charge a week.

As I want to mount outside I can't keep recharging it. Tried bringing all the settings down but the cameras clearly need to be plugged in.

Nothing mentioned in sales pitch on PB Tech website that this system will only work if you have super fast broadband - we don't so nothing worked as it should. Will try selling on trademe. Wanting a camera solution without ongoing subscription costs I decided to try out this kit. Unfortunately, the wireless of these is horrible. the connection barely reaches the 10m to the base station with no available options to try and extend the range from the camera to the base station.

Pros - so many
Battery life is fantastic
resolution is great
notifications are good, nice and quick
movement detection is great. Picked up on the stray cat eating my dogs food

Cons - connection - Unfortunately this overweighs all the pros because it means I cant use these cameras as I had originally intended but they "do the trick for now"

Having to re-position my cameras now to less than suitable angles and even then still only getting minimal signal and regular disconnections. Hoping there is a future fix for this sometime or will have to look at alternatives with ongoing costs
