Purchased this system after the positive feedback I had received from friends who praised how easy the system was to set up and the basic functionality to have the peace of mind that you can check in on your cameras and get great footage. Apart from that I would recommend this to anyone wanting a reliable and effective security system.

When the cameras have been switched off, it sometimes takes several attempts to activate them again, adding maybe a minute or two to the restart time - not a big deal Overall, a very happy purchaser.

the cameras are working well, the installation and set up was easy, it took some time in adjusting the alarm, we have Initial set up for indoor and may later extent them to outdoor.

I already had three of these cameras and I wanted another one to cover a different area around my house.
They require a base station and I had one already.
Connecting the camera to the base station is very simple. It does voice prompts but it is mostly 'press the button, wait until it turns blue' then your camera is paired with the base station.
The camera detects movement and/or people (depends on settings) and sends alerts to your phone. It doesn't need any monthly fees to anyone.
It goes to IR when it gets dark and it has an IR lamp, you can turn on a normal lamp from the phone all.

Very easy to install all the apps, cameras etc.
BUT couldn't get more than a few metres signal between the camera and home base, which is hopeless. It would then freeze-up.
Could have been a setting with my modem, who knows, but such a faff trying to get it sorted that I gave up and returned it. Very easy to install all the apps, cameras etc.

Have recently installed these in our home that is double glazed and brick. Had to change the location a few times because wifi signal will say strong when testing signal then discnnect later. Wifi extenders may be required if you have a big property.
The battery life advertised as 6 months per charge is false. drains a lot faster than that once mounted and just doing its job. Unfortunately due to an issue with the courier this camera was not delivered. To PB Tech's credit they issued me with a refund promptly once NZ Post acknowledged the issue.

I have a number of these cameras already and found them very good. The battery lasts anywhere from 4 to 6 months depending on the number of recorded security events. The range from the Home Base is up to around 70 meters. The picture is clear and detailed. The camera isn't detailed enough to pick up car number plates from more than around 20 meters away (the new Eufy 4K cameras are probably better for this). At the end of the day the 2K cameras I've got give plenty of detail and are fit for purpose I purchased them for.

Great cameras, app is missing advanced scheduling functionality. Company has completely dropped the ball with cyber security though and is not transparent with customers. Their AI component leaks photos into the cloud which are not deleted in an appropriate amount of time. Plenty of articles about it if you want to form your own opinion.
