Got this on special and have had it for 3 years now - no issues. Prompt alerts when motion detected - sometimes even too sensitve; but the great thing is it is all very customisable to suit on the app. Can share full control with those living with you or even limited control if you have flatmates or guests staying with you where they will only get notifications but unable to adjust settings. Battery life for us lasts about 6 months. Free local storage was definitely a major deciding factor for us. Definitely worth buying for sense of security and reassurance - especially on special at a one-off price and no storage fees. The quality and specs are great with night vision, alarm, speaker and spotlight, though the spotlight is pretty average. The only let down is when you zoom in during live streaming and or zoom in in your saved videos, the quality starts to distort and blur. I kind of regretted not spending the extra $300 and going for the 4K model and with better specs and AI detection.

Wire free, no subscription, the app is pleasant and the cameras work exactly how I expect it to. At first motion detection wasn't working, so I turned up the detection intensity to 6.
