Bought one of these to keep an eye on my elderly dad. I can check on him getting up, going to bed and seeing if he hasn't appeared for a while so then I can investigate further. Great for piece of mind. They are super easy to set up. They don't drop out or freeze and the video quality is excellent. You can also talk through the mic so you don't have the complication of phoning them. The app is super easy to use too! Bought one of these to keep an eye on my elderly dad. I bought this camera to keep an eye on the dog. It has excellent range of Wi-Fi detection. It was very easy and fast to set up. I have many other Tapo devices and cameras, so it ties into the ecosystem very easily. It's great seeing what the wife is doing while I'm at work. Highly recommend. I already have the higher models in the Tapo camera range (C310 and C120) and I thought I will try their bottom of the range C100 model for indoor use. I am happy to report that it still does have triggers for people and motion recording and baby crying and the image recording is still adequate. This is mounted on a window sill facing the front door, after one months of usage and recording, I would recommend the C100 camera if you are on a tight budget.
