Got this to keep an eye on my indoor cats when I am away from home - it’s great! The quality is good, you don’t need to pay for any subscriptions to use it, and you can pan around the room. I purchased these as we got a new kitten and we already have a dog , a big dog. So we wanted to keep an eye on them while at work. They were super easy to setup and install . I have ours sitting on a flat surface like a speaker , a bedside table , some drawers and a shelf . I’d suggest mounting hung or on a wall you will get more scope to move camera and get low shots etc , so that’s my next plan. The cameras are great tho . And we were able to check in from anywhere we were . By the way the cat and dog get on so well and are best of friends so we only tune in now for an uplift in our office days . We bought this to use in our daughter's room as a baby monitor and it has been amazing. The rotating pan and tilt feature has been awesome for tracking our little one as she moves about. It only works in close proximity to the router. Having spent many hours trying to get it to work in a stable manner, I only found that it's been a known issue with this product. Relatively easy to set up and connect. Pucrure quality is fine for the price, and sensitivity great.

I got this camera to monitor my pet during the day, the motion sensor is very sensitive so even a small pet can trigger the notification, that’s what you want. I haven’t used the TP-Link Tapo C200 2MP/1080P extensively yet, but I was able to connect it to ZoneMinder for basic video streaming.
However, camera movement (PTZ) didn’t work with ZoneMinder’s default settings, which limits its full potential in that setup.
Still, a decent option if you’re mainly looking for static viewing, or able to control it via default camera's app. I haven’t used the TP-Link Tapo C200 2MP/1080P extensively yet, but I was able to connect it to ZoneMinder for basic video streaming.
