As per the rest of the reviews the head rest is obsolete is you are taller than 1.76m. I have now had the chair for 4 months and the gas lift function loses compression - hence over a 30 min period chair deflates.

This chair seems to have been designed for short people only, as the headrest digs into my shoulders in any position (I’m about 1.8 metres). Furthermore, the metal base is cheap and flimsy, to the extent that I would prefer a plastic base. The lumbar support is also hard plastic that digs into your back, and the front of the seat is hard foam that digs into you legs. Not ergonomic in any sense; 100% returned. This chair only goes up and down, and the headrest can only move up and down a little. You cannot move the headrest back or forward or up enough (if you're tall), and there's no adjustable back support. I wouldn't recommend buying this product for the price. Very good chair. Good for neck and lower back. Easy set up. Easily avoided not touching the oily bits. I saw another reviewer saying gas lift not working but I get a feeling he/she didnt remove the gas lift red plastic cap as this was easy mistake to make if not following instruction sheet. I was hesitating to buy this before because they don't have this item on display, but bought it anyways because of the good reviews.
And the reviews are right, it is fairly cheap and very comfortable, my back pain when i'm playing games for long hours are gone.

Hard to find full mesh base and back for this price. I replaced my old full leather chair, Breathes well, moves easy and feels solid. Definitely a good buy for the price. Easy to assemble. A big step up from using a kitchen chair as a home office chair. OK if you are working part-time at home, and good enough for full time.
