This is an awesome CPU. With a few tweaks in BIOS- PBO enabled, minus curve optimiser, 100mhz increase in clocks, 6400 RAM etc it gives similar results to the 7800x3d in gaming for 2/3 the cost of a 9800x3d. I was not wanting to risk INTEL with the issues, there was not data on performance after the chips were downgraded by microcode. This was a modern chip similar to the older model which was very similar, only reason I bought was it was AM5 over AM4 and it's due a performance increase with a windows update. While it may not be as powerful, it certainly is extremely close in terms of performance.
This cpu is a perfect all round cpu, it has faster single thread ratings and a higher clock speed boost.

Everyone is going for the 3Ds so I save some money and got this one instead. I think it is a great performance, low power consumption CPU. I have not test much overclocking but I undervolted and got excellence performance with super low temps and stock perfomance. Bought as part of a new custom build, first time Ryzen owner. No issues so far, performs well for all tasks gaming and other. So fast, so cool, such little power consumption. Can't really tell the difference with the motherboard OC utility on/off because it's already needlessly fast.

A great CPU. As a long time Intel user I am pleasantly blown away with the performance, especially with core intensive games like Star Citizen and the Finals. Really glad I got this over Intel. I paired this with a Deepcool LE360 V2 liquid cooler and the CPU sits at 35 deg most times, even under load.

Have used this extensively now for gaming and I am very happy with it.
