Purchased this to make use of a 256gb SSD. I was able to copy over a couple of small files (8gb) as a test before I copied over 60gb. During this the unit got very hot and my SSD became inoperative. Tried via diskpart and other programs to recover the drive but it's toast. Unless you want to chance your drive being corrupted I would stay away from this product. I only recently got this, but after using it the USB port stopped working. I had to hold it at a very specific angle to connect and now it doesnt work at all.

It works fine but I'm quite disappointed with the materials the plastic case is made from. Very cheap feeling like the plastic used in blown moulded kids bath toys, you know they ones that dent really easily.
I really wish I had bought the one I found on amazon, would have actually been cheaper too but I wanted to support an NZ company. Easy to install - no tools needed. Worked with no problems. Enclosure is fine for protecting the drive in normal use but not strong enough if you are after a portable drive that will get some rough handling. Good price. Easy to install - no tools needed.
