I bought two of these SSD drives and used them in old computers that were short on RAM and periodically end up using swapfile/pagefile in the program I use them for. These drives aced the demands and were cheaper than buying RAM. The usual vast improvement you'd expect over HDD in every way.
I haven't bothered testing the advertised speed. I bought this to upgrade my PS3 from an old 80GB HDD so it was great increase in size as well as making some noticeable performance improvements. It fitted perfectly, I always use Kingston products when suitable. For starters, i had to purchase a new SSD since my last had recently died from its old age and for what its worth it had plenty of space and loading times where not a problem ever again! it worth it.
