I bought this SSD a couple weeks ago, it's fantastic for a budget build and for those who still want the boot speed a M.2 NVME drive delivers. I've had no problems with it thus far, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to keep things simple or are on a budget. cons: costly for 500g
the samsung 900 series ssds are probably one of the most reliable economic option for data storage, however you will pay a bit more for this premium, it really comes to what you are storing in the ssd, if you don't care about what you are storing, it is much better to just go for a cheaper alternative. If you are after the premium products, i heard that gen 5 ssds are coming out soon and would make much more sense if you got cash to spare.
