Seagate BarraCuda 8TB 3.5" Internal HDD

I usually try and buy Seagate as have always had great results and long life of product when using there hard drives. I have other Seagate drives that are still going strong after 10 years.

I bought this to use as cold backup. For the purpose it will work great and I do hope for years of service, but would not use it as a main HDD.
Done 4 passes of destructive badblocks which took a good portion of 5 days straight, a small price to pay before giving it my precious data.
Despite the usual R/W seek random errors, there were no physical errors reported. Unallocated sectors and Pending sectors stayed constant at 0.

Writing to this disk is SLOW, even connected to SATA3 port - A full backup of 3.6 TB with encryption/compression/checksumming took 2d 6h 44m 31s.
