Work on Synology DNS 923+
Was looking for a drive solution that works on the Synology DNS 923+ these drives are compatible and seem a good price as well for the storage
Excellent HDD
I have an Ubiquiti UniFi OS UDM Pro Dream Machine, and recently purchase an Ubiquiti Doorbell camera. The UDM has an HDD slot, but no HDD, so I contacted PB-Tech on advice for what was recommended. Got excellent advice. Ordered, it arrived, powered down the UDM, inserted the HDD into the cradle, started UDM and it found the HDD and initialised it, and hey presto can now go back and see recorded video from the doorbell. Excellent outcome.
Great product at a cool price
I purchased this online and it was delivered promptly. It installed easily. Windows 11 did not find the drive and self install it. This was due to the drive not being pre partitioned and formated. I had to get a third party partition tool and format it before it would work with win11. Good product, it would of been easiler if the drive was formated.

Are manufacturers not initializing drives now? The drive will require partitioning before formatting. Its probably due to most NVRs automatically doing this but windows PCs wont. We are using it for mega long term storage and should do the job.
