Bought one last year and going to purchase another one tomorrow to replace the Seagate One Touch 5TB one bought earlier last year, which has serious connection problem. There was a minor problem when used at early stage but then running smoothly and reliable. Although this drive may be more sensitive and slightly slower than higher-end models, it’s perfect for my needs. I wanted a reasonably priced, high-capacity drive to store old data without moving it around. I’ve used a similar WD Passport drive for about 10 years and have been very happy with it. Absolutely no issues with it. copied roughly 3Tb onto it first day.. then deleted half. Very rapid, and no integrity issues at all. Exactly what I expect from WD. Compact size which makes it easy to pack for travel, great for backing up media for long term storage. Zero complaints in the months I've used it. You can't go wrong with WD. Works ok as a backup drive on USB 2 front ports but kept dropping out on USB 3 on the rear ports. HP ML310e gen 8 V2 server running windows server 2022 and ReFS.
