WD Elements SE 4TB Portable External HDD - Black

Very pleased with this drive, which compares well with previous 1 Tb drives I have by WD and Seagate. It's smaller than both, and the case seems more solid, which you can't really evaluate until you have the unit in your hand. It has an indicator LED near the cable connection, as you would hope for but again not able to be confirmed in the online description. Read/write performance is good, and it was quick to partition into two logical drives using Windows 10. Handy to have, I have purchased two at a good price, one for back up. Small and compact doesn't take up much space which is good when traveling. Have not had any issues so far. I would recommend for general storage and backing up files. Also doubles as an external HD for gaming. Anything tech related is expensive. Whether for business or personal use, I always shop around and compare PBT to more traditional retailers. Their in store experts can not be matched by other retailers. I purchased two of these 4TB external hard drives for my home business Wifi server. Solid piece of kit. I backed up 2 desk top PCs & a laptop and still have room left. Downloading was fairly quick for the amount of data. Have yet to upload from the device but, only using it as mass storage. This hard drive was specified as plug and go. It needed formating and resetting before we could save anything to the hard drive. Bit difficult for the someone who may not be tech savvy.
