Overall nice small device. I do have 2, if you don’t have a Hub, don’t think it has a value. Sensors are really good and shows correct values.

Bluetooth is not that good. Maybe because of I kept my Hub in office room and door is closed most of the time but other devices connect without any issue. Maybe because of the Bluetooth connections battery is getting drained fast. Overall nice small device. I do have 2, if you don’t have a Hub, don’t think it has a value. You really have to buy into the xiaomi ecosystem to use these for automation but they are reasonably accurate stand-alone temperature/humidity probes that run for a year of so from a 2032 battery. Don't plan on monitoring your refrigerator or freezer temperature; they quickly stop working in cold conditions. I've had one in a sheltered outdoor location for a few months and it doesn't seem to be affected by Auckland (no frost) conditions. The battery lasts reasonably long, maybe six months or more. Would be nice if it was USB chargeable (like some Xiaomi products) rather than having to buy & dispose of the 3v batteries.

I was given one of these as a gift and subsequently bought two more. I can check the temp and humidity of my lounge, bedroom and outside from my armchair and I love it. Room temp and humidity hardly change according to this thing. Put it outside in a cold southerly for an hour. The temp changes a little but nowhere near what it should. Leave it in the fridge for a few hours and the temp is showing over 10 degrees(definately below 3 as per more accurate thermometer). Moving it from a cool room for a warmer room and the humidity goes from 50% up to 80%. Seems like it is super buggy and not accurate at all.
