I bought this a few weeks ago to use it for my office. The ad claims "They are quiet, and are ideal for heating larger spaces." but it does not even heat up a 12sqm office space! I wished I could give this back... But being used I've been told that I have to keep it. Extremely disappointed. One star for the design and quietness. Otherwise terrible product. The environmental thermostat is extremely inaccurate. It does not measure room temp correctly, therefore cannot be trusted to maintain a desired ambience. I tested it (for a number of hours) against a trusted thermometer and it's at least 5 degrees out (which is significant and means the room would become far too hot). Returned for full refund, thank you PB.
I bought it specifically for this function, but if you don't need that and just need a heater, a positive would be that it heats up surprisingly quickly for an oil heater! Price is reasonable. It has the function I need, which either turning on the heater indefinitely or for just x amount of time. The temperature of the room will be kept at the number you set.
