Features

The MDR-7506 is a staple within the recording, film and live arenas. Due to its low impedance and closed ear design, the headphone does an outstanding job of cutting down background noise while providing plenty of volume in the studio or in the field. Additionally, the closed design helps eliminate "headphone bleed" when overdubbing in the studio.

The MDR-7506 is an around-the-ear design and is ideal for use with MIDI workstations, camcorders or other equipment with less than powerful headphone amplification. The headphone has a foldable design, making it convenient to store or transport and its coiled cable allows it to stretch and spring back into place whenever you need a bit more reach.

-Circumaural closed-back stereo headphone ideal for use in professional applications
-40mm diameter drive units deliver deeper bass, lower distortion and wider dynamic range
-Neodymium magnets for maximum energy and minimum size
-Compact, foldable design
-Coiled cable allows for better mobility, and reach, while also preventing snags from tugging the headphones right off your ears

Awesome for Djing and Producing

Very happy with the purchase. The MDR 7506 Sony Headphones are amazing for producers and deejays. Amazing high end frequency listening, very crisp sound, and also quite decent low end. Would recommend !!

Excellent sound

A bargain at this price and would compete with more expensive monitor style HP's ... Giving a flat, accurate and well balanced sound.

Comfortable enough for up to an hour or two at a time, not suited for hours on end in my opinion and that's probably their only weak point compared to something like the DT series from Beyerdynamic or ATH from Audio Technica.

Build quality looks good enough to be considered 'pro' and should go the distance.

An instant favorite and I can see why they have been an industry standard for decades.

Unbelievable

Such a good product, I just love the sound quality. It's not wireless and doesn't have noise cancelling but it's perfect. Perfect for using it for music studio

Great sound and price

Great value and sound, have used for a few weeks now, just can get a bit sore on the ears after a awhile. But that might just be me. If you normally wear over ear headphones, these might not be for you.

Good for mixing

Got these after reading reviews that they were good for mixing / music production. Im loving them so far, comfortable to wear for a long time and sound great. (I haven't tried anything as a fair comparison but I'm happy - they are much better than my previous cheap headphones)

Great quality headphones

I've been using these to monitor and review voice over work and they are excellent at capturing the qualities of raw audio. They are also comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and fold up for easy storage.

Multiple pairs of these phones - so much cheaper now then when they first came out. Great clarity/detail, not enough grunt for playing out live, but excellent for studio work

7 day right of exchange
