Features

The MDR-7506 is a staple within the recording, film and live arenas. Due to its low impedance and closed ear design, the headphone does an outstanding job of cutting down background noise while providing plenty of volume in the studio or in the field. Additionally, the closed design helps eliminate "headphone bleed" when overdubbing in the studio.

The MDR-7506 is an around-the-ear design and is ideal for use with MIDI workstations, camcorders or other equipment with less than powerful headphone amplification. The headphone has a foldable design, making it convenient to store or transport and its coiled cable allows it to stretch and spring back into place whenever you need a bit more reach.

Nowhere near as good as you think it'll be!

It says they're Circumaural. This means Around the Ear. They are NOT around the ear, they are ON ear headphones. If, like me, you wear glasses, you are going to HATE them! I've been wearing them for an hour, and my ears hurt like hell right now! If you want a pair anyway, you can have mine for half what I paid for them, because I just want rid of them. I'm going to buy a pair of Sennheisers instead!

These things are a truly garbage design, an unpleasant feel on the ears when wearing them, an unnecessarily tinny sound, flimsy feel to the construction too, and they tend to spring shut when you take them off. I totally hate these things!
