Before buying this I saw lots of youtube reviews that really hyped up this keyboard. Initially, I was resistant to the hype but as I did more research this keyboard matched my use case more and more. What it does well is that it is a nice keyboard to type on. It replaces a different very expensive gaming keyboard that I have had for over five years that I have never really liked typing on. I’ve had this keyboard for two years. Logitech service absolutely refuse to provide any support or after sales service whatsoever. The rubber feet came off. If you buy this yours will too - it’s only a matter of time. Logitech _refuse_ to supply replacements. Even if we want to pay. They just say they don’t have them. Apparently if you are within the one year warranty they’ll just replace the keyboard rather than give you new rubber feet. At about 11 months maybe your feet might fall off. I guess all decent keyboards cost a fair bit of coin and this one is not cheap so definitely not an economy purchase so you expect a premium product.
But if you are using a keyboard every day for 8 hours a day or more then you might as well have something that is nice to use...

This is where the MX key's comes in; its stylish, well made very functional and a joy to use.

The build quality feels very solid, it's got a metal chassis and the buttons have a satisfyingly slick action. They aren't 'clicky' which is deliberate given it's touted as silent.

It's a full keyboard which is important for me as i want the number pad for data entry and also want the standard cursor keys and the insert and delete keys.

This is all in a fairly slimline package which is ergonomic enough that most won't require a wrist support or need more angle.

For me the clincher is the connectivity to the Logitech MX Master mouse and the the key illumination which is missing on some premium keyboards.

I'm yet to discover the battery life but from what i understand it's good without being stunning... All in all if you are looking for a stylish keyboard that does most things then you shouldn't be disappointed by this keyboard and it's definitely worth the money.

Once you open up the keyboard, you can feel why it cost as much as it does.

Very high quality build. Feels heavy and well made. The typing experience is also very intuitive, I got comfortable within a few minutes.

I've had this a couple of weeks and used it heaps - both on holiday and now back at the office. Paired beautifully and quickly with three devices - so easy to do and switching between is quick and easy. I previously had a Logitech K580 for a few months but didn't much like the feel of the flat topped keys and there was no backlighting. This is softer, much quieter, the home keys are easier to find and the whole experience is much nicer. It backlights automatically as you put your hands on it - wonderful! The best part is the little indentation in each key so you know you're hitting it centrally and correctly.
