Does the job and does it well
I bought this so that I could connect legacy gaming consoles and media players to the TV, and it works well.
As to be expected, using this device introduces added input latency, so gaming can prove difficult for the modern gamer. Otherwise it works well.

a much needed connector at a great price
As technology moves on and new really smart TV's (OLED etc) don't even know what an RCA connection is leave alone support one ..
This device effortlessly enables you to connect your ancient VHS player (or 8mm camera etc ), into you new TV and play those old family movies once again ...
It's great and it works well BUT ..... be warned .... it also just might be time to get those old video tapes digitized and stored away on a new portable hard drive
before it's too late

Brought this to play original xbox and it works as great havnt had an issuses with it
Not fit for purpose
I don't know why all the other glowing reviews, but I bought this to connect my retro NES console to a modern TV (Sony Bravia) and it was terrible. The input lag made playing games impossible, and there was some ghosting as well, so I returned it.
Easy to connect and a good price
Works fine to connect old(er) DVD player with AV Media connection to new HDMI only TV. Another retailer wanted $100+ to do the same thing.
