So much better than the cheaper competition. Love it that the labels have split tape at the back to make it easy to peel off the backing. Have used one ant work for years without trouble and labels anre very durable. Also purchased the iron-on clothing label tape which seems to be working well for labelling kids clothes for school - loving that too!
If does waste a bit of tape but you can set margins to “narrow” and/or change font to narrow to use less tape. So much better than the cheaper competition. If your looking for something to label all your kids bits and pieces and clothes than this is the machine for you! Does what I want it too, only down fall is like everyone else has stated the tape is wasted when printing it uses extra unnecessary tape on both sides of the printing. I was pleasantly surprised with the label maker, especially for the price!

At the price it seemed foolish to pass it by when in the shop, and I'm glad I bought it. Already it's had more use than I expected. I use a labeller regularly at work so when I saw the great offer by Brother I thought I'd buy one for home too. This labeller comes with easy access to common options such as font, size, style, frame and is reasonably responsive. It uses however SIX AAA batteries which surprised me a bit, and the buttons are a bit hard to press. This Brother label maker is good value for money. PB Tech were selling it at least $10 cheaper than other places. I like the ease of changing font size. It is very easy to operate .
