This monitor has a va panel, but the va panel is way better than average I would say it's as good as a average ips panel if not better. This monitor has no ghosting and is very clean, the unboxing experience was amazing and it also comes with a display port. The only bad thing I would say about this is the control mechanism, the control is on the bottom and is a bit weird to use but the options are pretty good. After a few days of using this monitor it is a beast of a monitor. Overall this is a very good monitor and a top monitor for this price. I would highly recommend it. Things that I liked about the monitor: (1) Good image quality, (2) Easy to assemble and mount on VESA monitor stands, (3) Came with a DisplayPort cable of decent length (apx 1.5m measured from male to male ends).

There are some downsides: (1) Lack of OSD settings; you can adjust brightness and volume by the joystick power button and that's it, (2) If planning to use VESA mounting, know that if your mount plate has both 75x75 and 100x100 it may cover one of the HDMI ports. Not the end of the world but something I think is worth noting.
