MSI Pro MP161 E2 15.6" FHD Portable Monitor

This is my first portable monitor so this may be common knowledge but it doesn't come with a power supply. If your computer can't supply power and signal over a usb-c to usb-c cable you will also have to plug in a sperate usb-c cable to power it. Otherwise very happy! Just love it and a great price from PBTech. Setup via the USB-C works with the advantage of having an A4 view. Can connect my Android phone to use DEX, easy.

This is an excellent product for the price. The resolution is very good and seem to function as per specification.
However, i encountered a problem, but i uncertain whether it is due to a PC OS error (Intel NUC with Windows 10) or due to the monitor itself.
When the display only is turned off for an extended time, the monitor failed to restart when moving the mouse. Restarting the PC did not remedy the situation.
This first occurred on the DP output port of the PC. Then i switched over to the HDMI port and the display functioned, bur the problem reappeared later.

I have disabled the various power option on the OS that placed the monitor or PC into some semi-sleep state. Problem has not reoccurred.

Hopefully all will remain well. Other than this "issue", an excellent product for the price.

Screen is excellent for when you don’t have the space for a permanent two screen setup and have to pack up and pack down work stations(dining room table) quickly. This product has been valuable for the purpose of use - It has given me the ability to "work away from the office" and make task easier to do when I needed a second screen.

First time taking this travelling with me the screen smashed and is no longer usable. It was in my bag inside its case and no known droppages. Would have expected it to have survived low impact travel (by car). It was previously useful to use at home, but home use was not the reason I brought it. I ordered this a few weeks ago and I had it on my desk, it toppled over screen 1st onto the mini HDMI plug that was sitting on the desk in front of it and it smashed the screen.

This does exactly what it is advertised to do. Gives me a mobile 2nd screen for my work. Charges c to c port with my laptop and fits easily into my laptop bag for portability.
