Samsung Odyssey G5 32" QHD 165Hz Curved Gaming Monitor

Monitor is straight up awesome haven’t found any issues yet, Colors are perfect might need some adjustments to meet your expectations. I’m running a RX 6600XT comes with a MSI dragon center software where I adjusted the screen color and adjust it on monitor to make it look fantastic. Refresh rate feels very smooth at 165hz. works great for Xbox Series S | X so i imagine it will work great for PS5. Does your 1440p120hz with HDR and VRR no problem just have to alter settings in the monitor (not a biggy) and boom, so chalk this one as one that works. has a fantastic colour image with colours that pop really well. so if youre after one that does consoles or a great budget/mid range monitor highly recommend works great for Xbox Series S | X so i imagine it will work great for PS5. I love the wide screen to watch my online movies. Also can split the screen to do 2 things at once. Would like to tilt it up a bit not sure if I can. Apart from that good value and size. A good first ultrawide screen. Great for gaming and work productivity. Only thing it's missing is an adjustable base. I've put it on a stand which still works really well ergonomically. I have a Samsung T.V from 11 years ago. Brilliant T.V. I expected this product to be an improvement from that T.V, not worse. The interface is terrible, compared to 11 years ago. Features are terrible compared to 11 years ago. Back light brightness is not actually manually adjustable. It's like I am asking the monitors A.I to adjust it and the A.I is doing what it wants. Dynamic contrast is also nothing like it was 11 years ago. It's there, but it's really not. The blacks are grey compared to an 11 year old T.V. Stupid 10mm black strip between the actual visible part of the monitor and the bezel. The bezel would normally cover this, but I guess Samsung wanted to trick us by using a thin bezel instead of the actual 15+mm bezel, and they did. We can't see this useless black waste of space strip around our monitor until we take it home and plug it in. All in all, I would not recommend it simply because it's so many steps backwards from the cheap Samsung T.V I have from 11 years ago. But after saying all this, I don't hate it. It works and it's a lot of real-estate for the price.
